Selina Ortiz-Ott

Born in Chiclayo – Peru, she grew up in Trujillo, Selina comes from a family that loves parties and of course good food. She has always showed interest in cooking which was inherited from her parents, who often worked together in the kitchen preparing meals.

At an early age, Selina often tried to help in the kitchen with cutting and pealing. Married to Dean, she moved to the United States and now has 3 children. Dean who likes to bake and Selina who prepares the main dishes were very happy to move to Austin into a home with two ovens.

Following her dreams, she studied at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu of Culinary Arts in Austin, where she graduated with honors. She began her career with Mi Peru Catering in Austin, Texas preparing her favorite Peruvian foods.
